SHEEP AND LAMB

Our flock comprises Dorset ewes with Rideau Arcott

and Ile de France influence. This year, we've added a registered Dorset ram, a 2024 NAILE 2nd place winner,

to our breeding program. Our ewes and this new ram graze freely on our native pastureland. We maintain a closed ewe herd of approximately 20 foundation ewes, selecting replacements from their offspring, and occasionally introducing rams from reliable sources.

We have a spring lambing.

You may purchase the whole animal or we can deliver it to the processor for you.  We also have a USDA processor and can sell cuts.

 

We're currently exploring the potential of our wool.

Karyn has begun cleaning, carding, and felting the wool, with the goal of offering finished wool products

in the future.
